Night Guide Care Instruction

Proper care of your night guard can prolong its use. Incorporate cleaning it into your daily oral routine, following these steps:

  1. Rinse after Use: Rinse the night guard with warm water to remove debris and loosen plaque.

  2. Brush it: Lightly brush it with your toothbrush without toothpaste. Non-abrasive dish or Castile soap can be used as a daily cleanser.

  3. Dry Completely: Lay the night guard on a clean surface to dry, which typically takes 15-30 minutes. This prevents bacterial growth.

  4. Store in a Case: When not in use, store it in a case outside the bathroom to avoid warping from steam and humidity. Avoid extreme temperatures and keep it out of reach from pets.

  5. Deep Clean Monthly: Use nonabrasive denture cleaner or a vinegar and hydrogen peroxide mixture for deep cleaning. Don’t soak for over an hour or in alcohol-containing liquids.
